Module 1 Learning Journal
During this first module I have learned a lot about how we define health, how your self-esteem can affect our daily life, and some ways to reduce our daily stress. I never knew about the 7 dimensions of health, and how some things we consider daily necessities are actually detrimental to our health and wellness. As a college student I find myself under a lot of stress concerning when my assignments are due, and how long it takes to go through all of the reading and studying I have to do for each course. Right now I am still getting used to my new schedule but I am finding better ways to manage my time and my stress. Some things I have found that really help me are: Breathing exercises - if I find myself getting frustrated or over-worrying about a simple task I will sit down and take a break and just breathe. Physical activity - many times while studying I find it hard to focus, I restart by taking breaks from studying to stretch and walk around the house. Focusi...
